星期二 [ 2010-1-19 16:38:11 | watches2009 ] Watch out for鈥 SIMON PEGG and Pam Ferris, who will be in director Debbie Isitt's semi-improvised movie Nativity about a Catholic infant school putting on a musical version of the Nativity. All hell breaks lose when pushy and competitive parents become involved. MEGAN JOSSA (below), who used to play Grant Mitchell's daughter Courtney in EastEnders, is showing off her talent in the musical Billy Replica Valentino Handbags Elliot (still the best show in London) playing Debbie, the daughter of ballet teacher Mrs Wilkinson. She shares the role at the Victoria Palace with two other young actresses. The 12-year-old from South-East London told her old junior school magazine how, initially, she and her mother were worried about the show's bad language, but she cried with happiness when told she'd won the part. So Megan, who went from the East End to the West End, is clearly one to watch out for in the future. MATTHEW McNULTY, who will join Suranne Jones in the three-part drama Unforgiven, written by Sally Wainwright for the respectable TV company Red Productions. Ms Jones plays a woman released from prison after serving 15 years for the murder of two policemen. McNulty plays the son of one of the officers who is out for revenge. SEAN HARRIS, who joins Paddy Considine in 1980, the second film in the C4 three-part film dramas being made based on David Peace's bleak, visceral Red Riding novels. Harris plays Bob Craven, an officer dripping with malevolence who clashes with an assistant chief constable (Considine) tasked with investigating the Ripper squad. Lesley Sharp plays Considine's wife. CRAIG REVEL HORWOOD, who will direct Karen Ruimy and a company of top-notch dancers in Flamenco Flamen'ka, a red hot story of passion set around a bordello (hey!) written by Ms Ruimy and based on Jorge Luis Borges's short story The Intruder. It begins performances at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, on September 18, and will run until November 15. ... and this soul diva CHECK out Tigriss (right), a one-woman dynamo of a singersong-writer whose choreography combines free-running, ballet Girard Perregaux Fake and other styles. She boasts the soulful influences of Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner. On her demo CD she sings Queen's One Vision and reminded me of the young Madonna (with far more range!), then she did a cover of I'm Telling You I'm Not Going from Dreamgirls with an earthiness I hadn't heard in a while. She has a wow factor about her and her manager, my old friend Morgan Khan, wants to launch her big time on the music scene. She has a cool website, which includes the two cover songs, plus she's featured in a graphic comic. Go hear her roar.
